Let's face it, the battle over yoga in public schools is not going to go away. If you a religious parent who sees public schools fighting religion and God with increasing intensity you've got to get suspicious. And if you ask me, it looks like the parents are more informed about the Yoga then those who try to promote it. Yoga was and still is a part of Hindu philosophy and religion. Parents know it, but teachers for some reason seem to miss that. Unless you remove abdominal breathing, palm fingers forming a circle, terminology and chanting, the religious elements will be part of the practice.
