Pushups anybody?

(WARNING: THIS POST MAY OFFEND HARD CORE ANTI-PUSHUPS PEOPLE:)

Did you know that in some Yoga workouts you actually perform ... pushups? To add insult to injury, those pushups are of the better, effective variety, because you perform them slowly. In Salutation A you do one (1) pushup. In Salutations B you do three (yes 3) pushups. Now, if you do 4 sets of each, as recommended by most teachers, the total is 16. 16 pushups. Most people have problem doing 10 or even 5.

This is why Yoga is such a great exercise.
